About this restored site

Amelia Indie Authors was an association of independent authors on Amelia Island, Florida. Its site published craft and publishing articles, member pages and news of the Amelia Island Book Festival between 2017 and 2022, and then went off the air.

Where the pages came from

The material was recovered from snapshots in the Internet Archive. For each address the latest successful snapshot was taken, so the text is the last version the site published. Addresses were kept: an old link to /2018/02/13/founder-chat-screenplays-1 still opens the same article, now at a shorter address.

What is missing

Only what the archive saved could be restored. The shop, the member area and the forum were dynamic: without the original database they held nothing to preserve, and they are gone. Some illustrations were never captured; where a picture is missing, the text remains without it. Comments were not restored.

Articles, pages and photographs belong to their original authors, and the by-lines and dates are shown as published. If you wrote something here and would like it changed or taken down, that will be done — the goal of this restoration is to keep the association's work readable, not to claim it.
