Member Benefits

There are lots of benefits to becoming an Amelia Indie Author. First, by doing so, you’re saying, “I want to produce the best quality product possible.” That’s a pretty bold statement in the current state of independent publishing affairs.

While we share our wonderful guest bloggers with the general public, we also provide private, members-only blog posts with valuable insider info. When you click on our front page, you’ll see the public posts. You must be logged in to see member materials.

As you know, we are an author co-op. Part of what that means is that members connect with and support one another. They share some of the work — usually as part of their decision to build the indie author muscles.

That is done in a variety of ways: reading and commenting on the others’ blogs, sharing book launches with family and friends, asking questions in a private Facebook group,  commenting on images in our Instagram account, sharing material for #wordnerdwednesdays, and joining our daily Twitter #CoffeeCrew.

And, if you’re an author and not yet ready to apply for Amelia Indie Authors membership, you can follow along by “liking” our public Facebook page.

Some of our members already have books available and have shared cover files to be added to the “Our Books” page. We look forward to adding more great releases soon.

Perhaps one of the biggest advantages to co-op membership is the opportunity to utlize some of our vetted providers for beta reading, editing, profreading, cover design and more.

As we support our members in achieving their writing goals, we discover new and better ways to communicate. Member benefits will also change from time to time.

Please note, we are still building this site and the co-op. We rely on a handful of members who are willing to try things and provide feedback about what works and what doesn’t. Even if you haven’t yet taken the membership plunge, please don’t hesitate to email Andrea AT AmeliaIndieAuthors.com to alert us to any issues.
